Why bother publishing this

Plenty of sites that look like a local business are lead brokers, and plenty of recommendations are bought. You cannot weigh our advice without knowing which of those we are, so this page says it plainly.

What happens when you get in touch

lacombewebdesign.ca belongs to Lacombe Web Design. Fill in the estimate form or ring the number and it reaches us. It is not resold as a lead and it is not sprayed across a panel of bidders competing to call you first.

The web design, branding, search, marketing and e-commerce work is done by the person you spoke to — this is a one-person studio. Where a job needs somebody we are not, photography or video being the usual case, we will tell you that and tell you who, before anything is booked.

What that means for you

• ▪You will know who is doing the work, because there is only one person and you have met them.
• ▪The written estimate is the price. Whatever exists behind the scenes, the accepted estimate is what you pay.
• ▪Get a second quote. That is a reasonable thing to do and we will not talk you out of it.
• ▪If we are ever paid for sending you elsewhere, you will be told at the time — not discovered afterwards.

Advertising and measurement

This site may show up in paid search results or other advertising. It runs no call tracking, no analytics and no advertising pixels, so the phone number on every page is the real line rather than a number that forwards and records. Nothing here is measuring which advert sent you.

If that changes — and for a business that advertises, eventually it might — the privacy policy will describe exactly what was added before it goes live, and this section will stop saying none of it is running.
