What applies to this website, and what applies to the work.

Last updated: September 9, 2026

This website

It exists to explain what we do. Read it, link to it, contact us through it. Nothing on it is an offer, a contract or a promise to do work at a particular price.

Please do not try to break it, scrape it, copy it wholesale or put false information through the form.

Estimates and what they bind

There are no prices published on this site, deliberately — every service page says the job is quoted on scope. Anything said here or in conversation about likely cost is indicative and is not a quote.

A quote binds only once it is written down against a defined scope and you have accepted it. If the scope changes after that, the extra work is quoted again before it starts. Charges do not appear after the fact. The written estimate you accepted governs the job and overrides anything on this website.

Not professional advice

What is written here is general information about our services, not legal, financial or accessibility-compliance advice for your particular situation. Talk to us about your actual circumstances, and where you need a specialist we will say so rather than guess.

Scope and timing

Timelines assume content, feedback and account access arrive when asked for. When they do not, the delivery date moves, and we will say so at the time instead of letting a date quietly slide past.

Where a job depends on somebody else — a host, a registrar, a search or advertising platform — their outages, policy changes and approval decisions are not ours to answer for.

What we need from you

To keep a project moving:

  • Accurate contact and business details when you ask for an estimate
  • The authority to commission the work and to grant access to the accounts involved
  • Content, images and approvals inside the agreed timeframes
  • The rights to any text, photography or logos you hand us to publish

What is yours

Once the final invoice is paid you own the content, the design as delivered, and your domain, hosting and analytics accounts. Accounts are not held hostage and there is no release fee for leaving.

We keep the right to describe the work and show screenshots of the delivered site as our own portfolio — nothing is published on this site today, but it may be. Say the word and yours is left out, no reason required.

Invoicing

Payment terms live in the written quote for each job. Work can be paused if an invoice sits unpaid past its terms.

Marketing outcomes

Search and marketing results depend on competition, platform changes, seasonality and your own market — none of which we control. The disclaimer sets out the full position: no guarantee of rankings, traffic, lead counts or revenue.

Stopping

Either of us can end a monthly arrangement with reasonable written notice. Work already done is invoiced; work not yet started is not. Fixed-scope projects follow the terms in their own quote.

Availability and accuracy

We keep this site as accurate as we can and provide it as is. Service details and coverage change. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using it, and nothing here cuts down your rights under consumer protection law or any warranty in a signed agreement with us.

Which law applies

The laws of the Province of Alberta, and the federal laws of Canada that apply within it.
